Language College

Colton Hills Community School became a Language College in September 2006.  Designation as a Language College has enabled us to do many things to improve the achievement and range of opportunities for pupils at Colton Hills.  

One of the most significant developments has been the building of an ICT room with 30 computers for the use of pupils learning languages.  We have also been able to increase the range of extra-curricular activities for our pupils.  Our 'School News' pages describe some of the exciting activities our students have done over the last few months. 

As a Language College we are required to work with local Primary schools, other Secondary schools, the local community and local businesses.  Our 'Community News' pages will inform you of the activities we have undertaken with the local community,and let you know of Language Courses we are running for the local community.
