Times of the school Day

The day consists of 6 x 50-minute lessons with a break in the morning after Lesson 2.  Lunch follows after Lesson 5.  Lesson 5 is 30 minutes for registration and form period, I-Planning, early lunch or Year assemblies.  The school day finishes at 3.25 pm. 

Students are required to be in school by 8.45 am for the morning session and by 1.45 pm for the afternoon session.

PERIOD 2                         09.40 - 10.30

MORNING BREAK         10.30 - 10.50

PERIOD 3                         10.50 - 11.40

PERIOD 4                         11.40 - 12.30

PERIOD 5                         12.30 - 1.00 pm

LUNCH                             1.00 - 1.45 pm

PERIOD 6                         1.45 - 2.35 pm

PERIOD 7                         2.35 - 3.25 pm

Year 12 and 13 students travelling to another site in the afternoon need to have an early lunch and leave very promptly, soon after the end of lesson 3, eg 12.00.  The kitchen staff are aware of this.  The time the bus leaves may vary from day to day.  Afternoon sessions on other school sites are scheduled to fit in with this arrangement.  In subjects where there are visiting students, staff on this site will need to have lunch period 4 and begin the afternoon session at 1.00pm.
