Colton Hills Celebrates the European Day of Languages

Every year on 26^th September countries across Europe celebrate the European Day of Languages.

This year we celebrated with Year 9. Year 9 pupils spent the afternoon learning new languages. We ran taster sessions in Welsh, Italian, Spanish, Arabic and Irish. The school has a residential centre in Wales so the Welsh pupils learnt will come in useful.

Pupils really enjoyed being able to express themselves in these new languages, on top of the French and German they all learn at school.
