Rajinder Manhota

Co-Opted Governor

I am a West Midlands–born professional with over 25 years of experience in Facilities Management and currently serve as National Operations Manager for the largest FM company in England.

Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to improving safety, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance in complex, high-pressure settings. These skills are directly transferable to the education sector, where providing a safe, supportive, and well-managed learning environment is critical to student and teacher success.

I am deeply passionate about contributing to school improvement, supporting and empowering teachers, and ensuring that every child has the best possible opportunity to thrive academically and personally. As a school governor, I would bring strategic oversight, operational expertise, and a commitment to strengthening the school community

Parent Governor

I am a Speech and Language Therapist and have worked in the NHS for over 20 years. I support children who have speech, language and communication needs and understand how these needs can impact learning, social interaction and well-being. I have experience of collaborating with educators to develop strategies that empower students to achieve and address barriers to learning. I enjoy working with parents and carers, supporting them to advocate for their child in school and ensuring their voice is heard, something I am passionate about bringing to the role of parent Governor.

Born in Wolverhampton, I was educated here before studying at Reading University. I have worked in secondary schools in the City as well as another local borough where I held senior responsibilities. I believe effective partnerships between the school, students and their families can foster learning which is the key to unlocking potential.
