I’m an ex-Colton Hills student, proudly representing the school as the Chair of Governors, having been a part of the governing board for over 15 years. Away from my duties at school I work as a Regional Sales Manager at BT and run a local boy’s football team. I’m very passionate about helping young people in my community and seeing this school go from strength to strength.

Sixth Form, Careers and Finance

I have worked for the National Trust for most of my career, nearly 20 years now. I am passionate about heritage and the natural environment and want to bring people closer to it to enjoy it as much as I do. In recent years I have been working on how we get younger people involved in heritage and nature as I think it also has benefits for their wellbeing.

I am a lawyer by profession and have completed my Masters in Law from University of Wolverhampton. Working for myself has provided with a great deal of flexibility, allowing me to be greatly involved in my son's schooling. I fully enjoy my job role and have built great rapport gaining confidence and building a strong relationship of trust and understanding within the local community. I can understand the difficulties in running and planning a demanding school curriculum. The voice of the parents is important in running the school.
