2025 GCSE Examination Results
21 August 2025
Colton Hills students are celebrating their GCSE results, following five years of hard work and perseverance. It marks an important milestone for pupils as they take the next step in their academic and personal journeys. The school community came together to recognise the achievements of the Class of 2025 and to commend their efforts and resilience as a year group who started secondary school in covid bubbles.
These results mark a continued trend of academic success at the school and highlight our commitment to high standards of teaching and learning. The school is thrilled that students have gained higher grades than last year with 100% achieving a grade 7 or above in Russian, Italian and French. There were also stronger results in Physics, Chemistry and Sport.
Among the success stories is Ishan Bal, who achieved a perfect score of nine grade 9s. Jessica Naphri received five grade 8s and five grade 9s, including a grade 9 in Italian. Jessica commented:” I am delighted with my results; they have exceeded my expectations. I now look forward starting a new chapter in sixth form.”
Shawaiz Neem, who was recently awarded Sports Personality in our school awards evening, also came away with a great set of results - two grade 9s, five grade 8s and a Distinction* in Level 2 Sports.
Headteacher, Ms Hunter praised the cohort’s commitment: “Their results reflect not only academic achievement, but also the perseverance they’ve shown through challenging times. We look forward to seeing many of them return to our Sixth Form and wish everyone the very best in their next steps. Also a big thank you to our staff who have worked tirelessly to support students academically and personally.”
