Examination Results

Colton Hills Sixth Form celebrated their Year 13 students on their excellent results this summer. This year saw our highest proportion of UCAS and apprenticeship applications and we look forward to hearing their success stories, as they start a new chapter.

Harleen Grewal achieved an astonishing five A levels, an A* in Italian, and As in Religious Studies, Economics, Mathematics and a B in History. She will study Law at the University of Birmingham and due to the school partnership and her amazing results, she has been awarded a special grant to support her studies. Mihir Chopra will be attending the University of Liverpool having attained a place on the prestigious veterinary Science course. He leaves Sixth Form today with As in Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Acting Deputy Headteacher Mr Gittins said “Our students should be very proud of what they have achieved. They have worked extremely hard, supported one another, and adapted to unprecedented challenges. Their results demonstrate the efforts they have put in and the high-quality teaching by our excellent staff. We wish them all the very best for the future.”

Other notable successes include Rachika Verma who will study Computer Science at Aston University and attained an amazing double Distinction* in Information Technology, an A in Italian and double Distinction in Business. Aniket Kalra is celebrating an A in Italian, a Distinction* in Information Technology and a Distinction*/ Distinction in Business.
