2025 A Level/BTEC Results Day
14 August 2025
Staff, families, and the wider school community came together today to recognize the achievements of our sixth formers as they celebrated a well-earned set of results.
There was a 100 percent pass rate in the following A-Level subjects: Art, Economics, English Literature, Environmental Studies and Psychology. As well as in the following BTEC subjects: Business, E Sports, Health and Social Care, IT and Applied Science.
Several students are now preparing to take up places in top universities, competitive apprenticeships, or begin careers in their chosen field. Among the many success stories is Amarpreet, who achieved A* in Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics and will be pursuing Medicine at Birmingham University. Mehreen received A* in German, A in Economics, B in Psychology and C in Chemistry. She will be pursuing a prestigious apprenticeship with KPMG.
These individual successes highlight the broad range of pathways students are now taking, each supported by a school culture that values both academic excellence and personal growth.
Headteacher, Ms Hunter praised the cohort’s commitment: “Today, we celebrate not only their achievements but their journey. We wish them well in whatever path they choose next. I’d also like to thank our Colton Hills staff for their unwavering support.
Many students will now continue their educational journey at universities across the country including Birmingham University, Loughborough University, University of Manchester, Aston University, Keele University and Royal Veterinary College. They will be pursuing subjects such as Law, Medicine, Economics, and Bioveterinary Science.
