Ofsted Report

Colton Hills Community School was last inspected in May 2015 and was confirmed to be a good school in all areas. 

We welcome the many positive comments made by inspectors about our school as we continue to work towards becoming an outstanding school.

School leaders have encouraged a culture of respect in which diversity is celebratred alongside high expectations of all learners and staff.

Pupils feel safe in school and learn how to be safe outside of school and on the internet.

Students across all year groups are engaged in their learning and are motivated by well taught, stimulated lessons that leads to their good acheivements over time.

The school has been successful in improving the standard of student's literacy and encouraging a love of reading.

Behaviour is good. Students deminstrate posiive attitudes to their learning, show respect for each other and have pride in their school.

Good teaching and good behaviour are now flourising at this school.
