Enrichment at Colton Hills
At Colton Hills, we believe that learning extends far beyond the classroom. Our enrichment programme provides students with valuable opportunities to support their personal development through developing new skills, discovering interests, building confidence, and forming positive relationships with their peers and staff. Participation in clubs and activities helps students broaden their experiences, enhance their wellbeing, and develop important life skills such as teamwork, resilience, leadership, and communication.
We encourage all students to take advantage of the wide range of enrichment opportunities available. Whether exploring a new hobby, developing a talent, or simply trying something different, involvement in enrichment activities can have a significant positive impact on both personal development and academic success. Participation in enrichment activities also helps students develop a strong sense of belonging within our community. Students can form meaningful friendships, work collaboratively with others, and feel connected to the wider life of the school. These experiences contribute significantly to students' wellbeing, self-esteem, and overall success.
Parents and carers play a vital role in supporting students to engage with enrichment opportunities. By encouraging regular attendance at clubs and discussing their experiences, families can help students make the most of everything our school community has to offer. We ask for your support in motivating your child to participate in activities that interest them and to embrace new opportunities throughout the year.
Please see the timetable below for details of the clubs and activities currently available. We look forward to seeing students take part and enjoy the many benefits that enrichment can bring.
