2026 GCSE Examination Results

Students at Colton Hills Community School, a proud and inclusive community school in Wolverhampton, are celebrating a strong set of GCSE results this week, reflecting their hard work. The number of students attaining a grade 5 in English and Maths has almost doubled since last year and students attaining a grade 7 or above in English and Maths has doubled in the past two years. We are celebrating some of the strongest results since pre-Covid due to the hard work of students and staff.
Among the many success stories is Harmanpreet Singh, who achieved an outstanding set of results, including five 9s. Harmanpreet said: “The results are what I had hoped. It feels incredible to see all my hard work has paid off.”
Teo Gheorghiuc, also celebrated excellent results, achieving nine grades above 7, including a 9 in GCSE Russian. Teo will be pursuing Chemistry, Maths and Physics at Colton Hills Sixth Form.
Another student, who also did well is Ellie Taylor, who achieved eight grades with scores of 7 and above, including 8 in Chemistry and Maths. Ellie is thrilled with her results and will be progressing to Colton Hills Sixth Form with aspirations to pursue Biology, Sociology and Psychology.
Headteacher, Ms Hunter said: “Our diversity is our strength. We are incredibly proud to be a school where every student’s identity is respected and celebrated. It’s about opportunities, inclusion, and preparing our students to be well-rounded citizens of the world.”
Colton Hills Community School continues to look ahead with ambition as the school embarks on a period of growth, with plans to expand and refurbish current facilities over the next two years. “We are not just expanding our building; we are expanding opportunities”, Headteacher added.
